We also provide non-emergent transportation for a large number of healthcare facilities and patients in our wide ranging service area. Last year alone we transported over 85,000 patients. Our customers can always count on quality customer service and on-time performance.

Armstrong’s fleet is dispatched through our state-of-the-art headquarters in Arlington, Mass. Each vehicle is equipped with GPS tracking, Electronic Patient Care Reports, Navigation, and a Road Safety Program, for one of the safest and most technologically advanced fleets in the Commonwealth.

Special Events and Standbys

Armstrong regularly provides contracted coverage at major, large-scale special events and gatherings that may require medical assessment, treatment and transport. Partner events include Boston College Football, Boston College Campus Coverage, Boston University Campus Coverage and Northeastern University sporting events and other Boston and local college/university gatherings.

Our Special Operations Division is prepared to respond at a moment’s notice to large-scale medical emergencies and unusual events, using Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) protocols and the Incident Command System (ICS). Many facilities rely on our Special Operations Units to facilitate medical coverage during an MCI.

Armstrong’s Mass Casualty Units are equipped with power generators, portable communications equipment, shelter systems, cool misting stations and Pulse Carbon Monoxide Oximetry.
